The opportunity:

Algreen is currently looking for a B2B Marketing Assistant to support the team in developing new market opportunities, coordinating Algreen’s relationship with our partners and progressing Algreen’s venture to its next stage. 

 

About the role:

You have a passion for startups, chemistry and environmental sustainability. At Algreen, you’ll be busy straight from day one, developing a deep understanding of our products (Polyurethane-based) and its various applications in different industries and ensuring your work is delivered consistently to brief. Building a trusting relationship with your colleagues you will help to run Algreen marketing projects providing weekly/monthly reports to Algreen’s supporting partner, while demonstrating Algreen’s progress through the delivery of programs. Jobs will include creating a marketing plan, a confernece schedule and organise delivery for the directors attending. Social media as well as PR and more tradiotnional methodolgies will be deployed. Algreen does little outreach marketing to customers or potential customers, but we would like to develop quality information floe, that is specific to our customers.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong time management skills: juggling multiple tasks and clients will be a regular occurrence

  • Highly communicative, well organised and structured

  • Strong skills in internal/external relationship building, market development, business strategies, communication and coordinating.

  • Able to clearly articulate Algreen's value proposition to key customers in sustainable fashion/furniture/construction industries

  • Able to assist and ultimately take the lead in meetings and conference calls with clients, building positive relationships with them

  • Able to identify opportunities for Algreen to extend its scope of work within the existing project/program

  • Efficient and effective with the use of own time and that of others.

  • Clear awareness of the importance of delivering value to clients.

  • An energetic, positive approach and ‘can-do’ attitude- solution not problem-oriented.

  • Excellent skills in social media, website updates, Microsoft Office, programme management software, etc.

  • Flexibility in tasks according to the Company's growth needs.

Skills & Experience:

  • A good understanding of B2B marketing practices

  • Time spent developing project proposals following Algreens' brief.

  • Experience in accomplishing agreements with international customers.

  • Strong negociation skills in purchasing mareting materials or services.

  • Budget management and financial forecasting experience

  • Able to prepare pitch deck and market materials and pitch Algreen’s project to client/partner/investor

  • Able to lead a small team initially and to manage the fast growth of the team efficiently

  • Able to produce and send succinct reports to the line manager

  • Able to work independently and develop spontaneous thinking

  • Able to support junor training

 

About You:

  • B2B marketing experience (+2 years) with a in-depth understanding of chemicals.

  • Mature, calm and confident in all internal and external communication and confident in client/partner communication both in-person and virtually.

  • Pragmatic and have a logical approach to work with very high attention to detail.

  • Quality of output should be front of mind and you should really care about delivering this for the client and for Algreen.

  • Should be driven to deliver projects on budget and on time.

  • Able to working for multiple projects/customers with excellent time control
